New Feature: Vacuum service

We are thrilled to announce that the vacuum pack feature is now available on your Blackship account, effective today. ^^

Previously, we only offered this service upon request so probably not many customers know that we provide this service in the first place. But from today, this feature is now included as an optional add-on service for your shipments.

This feature is particularly useful for those shipping large plush toys or bulky items such as jackets or clothing items. By compressing the items, shipping costs can be significantly reduced. In some cases, customers have saved up to $100-$150 on shipping costs. :)

To illustrate, imagine a box filled to capacity with plush toys:

After we compress it, you can see that the items take up less space,

And after some arrangement, it leaves room for additional items to be shipped in the same package, hence we can ship all your items effectively in one shipment and save on your shipping fee.
