Used Blackship for the first time and am so very, very, VERY disappointed...
Consolidated 2 items in the total amount of 580 grams and requested both items be delivered in original packaging. One item was removed from original packaging upon arrival (upset about that). Selected FedEx shipping (I use either FedEx, DHL, or UPS at proxy services out of Japan) and was charged $43 USD---for a 580 gram package that wasn't even packaged according to my request and I had a $5 discount referral. By contrast, a proxy service I thought I was trying to get away from (but am now going to be crawling back), charged me $29 USD for a similar weighed package, kept everything in the original packaging and had four consolidation fees included in the $29. I used DHL there because FedEx wasn't offered, but the estimate for DHL at Blackship was $47 (higher than the original estimate for FedEx). And to make it even worse, I shipped out a 2215 gram box from a third proxy service on the same day and was charged $46 for the UPS option. You need to look into your shipping rates and why it's charging so much when other proxies do better. Please also double check the original packaging requests when consolidating items. You removed mine without permission. Both boxes were checked to keep original packaging.
